Always on the lookout for great Gift Basket stuffers, a recent DVD is a must have! Apocalypto, the Mel Gibson directed action adventure movie is a sure crowd pleaser keeping you on the edge after a somewhat slow but witty start. Mel takes us on a journey deep into the ancient "Mayan" rain forest just before the arrival of Europeans for a glimpse into the life of the "rain forest hunters" turned insane by the evil and vicious "Mayan city civilization" gone mad. Non stop action after the first 15 minutes and really left me with a lot to think about. Stars Rudy Youngblood as our hero and Raoul Trujillo as the leader of the villians.
